Training for new Military & Veteran Service Organizations is being offered online via Zoom, on a one-on-one basis, at a mutually convenient time.

Join the MAC Program
Artists and Arts Organizations working in El Paso or Teller Counties are eligible to apply to participate in the MAC program and become Artist Facilitators. All creative media are welcome, and Artist Facilitators will set their own fees and arrange all program logistics and activities around their own schedules. No previous teaching experience is required, but a strong desire to serve and support our local military community is a must. Please follow the instructions to the right. Virtual/Online Training Session
To apply to become an Artist Facilitator for the MAC program, please complete the application form below.
If invited to participate, you will need complete a required 1/2 day virtual training session, presented by the UCCS Veterans Health & Trauma Clinic. See Artist Facilitators training dates/times to the left. The usual requirement for a FBI background check in conjunction with the training is still in place, but there will be an extended grace period due to COVID-19.
Upon successful completion of training, you will be officially registered on the MAC website, and may list up to five (5) creative Experiences [virtual and/or in-person] that you wish to share with local military service members, veterans, and/or their families.
Artist Facilitators are expected to respond promptly and professionally to all MAC program inquiries and communications. Please also be sure to keep your MAC profile current, and update your Experience offerings periodically, as appropriate.
