MAC training for
Artist Facilitators and
Military & Veteran Service Organizations
ALL TRAINING HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE CURRENT PUBLIC HEALTH SITUATION.
There will be three (3) training sessions for new Artist Facilitators in 2020. Training dates are still TBD.
Training for new Military & Veteran Service Organizations is being offered on a one-on-one basis, at a mutually convenient time.

Join the MAC Program
Artists and Arts Organizations working in El Paso or Teller Counties are eligible to apply to participate in the MAC program and become Artist Facilitators. All creative media are welcome, and Artist Facilitators will set their own fees and arrange all program logistics and activities around their own schedules. No previous teaching experience is required, but a strong desire to serve and support our local military community is a must. Please follow the instructions to the right. Artist Facilitator Training
at the UCCS Lane Center
To apply to become an Artist Facilitator for the MAC program, please complete the online application form below.
If invited to participate, you will need complete a required 1/2 day training session, presented by the UCCS Veterans Health & Trauma Clinic. See Artist Facilitators training dates/times to the left. Prior to attending training, you will need to complete an FBI background check.
Upon successful completion of training, you will be officially registered on the MAC website, and may list up to five (5) creative Experiences that you wish to share with local military service members, veterans, and/or their families.
Artist Facilitators are expected to respond promptly and professionally when MAC program connections are made. Please be sure to keep your profile current, and update your Experience offerings periodically, as appropriate.
