About the Artist Facilitator

With 40 plus years of exploration in the realms of sound, music, rhythm, and voice, including a B.A. in Music Therapy, Judith continues to explore the indigenous and soulful edges of vibration as sound medicine.

She presently offers Devotional and Community Song, Frame Drum and Rhythm Workshops, Healing Sound Workshops / Journeys, Performances that weave her talents and skill on drums around the world, vocals, native flutes, didjeridu, guitar, and dulsitar ™.  In addition, Judith works with youth and adults in Rites of Passage Threshold Retreats, is an initiated Council Trainer and Guide in The Ojai Foundation model (a circle practice that encourages authentic listening and speaking from our hearts), is a Universal Life Church Minister, and continues to explore Nature as Teacher, developing a Medicine Wheel of our Elemental Sound Nature.

Learn the language of rhythm! Join together with other women in a community of sisters who love rhythm and sound.  Participate in a proven method to relieve stress, encourage joy and vitality, and connect to others through rhythm! About this Experience

The family who drums together! Have a great time with each other sharing rhythms and percussion including drums, rattles, shakers, and bells with this skilled musician known nationwide for bringing the best of rhythmic experience to groups. Designed for up to five people in a family grouping, for approximately one hour. Includes instruments for all. All ages welcome.  Outdoor settings preferrable.

About this Experience

Through various sound textures including didjeridu, voice, bells, bowls, drums, rattles, and dulsitar, we’ll move through our inner nature of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether, arriving at the still point, the Nada Brahma, with more vitality, clarity, energy and joy available to us.  No experience necessary.  This sound bath / healing sound journey is intended for deep relaxation and relief of tension and anxiety.

About this Experience

Learn to play djembe or frame drum with this skilled and generously spirited guide!  Learn the language of the drum (djembe or  frame drum), play rhythms inspired by cultures around the world, and from your own indigenous self.   You can borrow a drum from Judith if you do not have one.  Drumming releases the endorphins that encourage peace and joy, decreases stress, relieves tension, opens our heart, connects us to each other, and provides for a new learning experience!  I love to inspire and teach on these drums!
