About the Artist Facilitator

Sarah Groh Correa is the director of Groh Music. She sings professionally with the Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble and leads the Sarah Groh Quartet, a jazz group in Colorado Springs. Sarah has been on tour with choirs to Japan, India, England and Italy. She helps singers set easily achievable goals while building self-confidence and allowing for self discovery. Her work with adults, teens and elementary age singers incorporates music learning, fun, stress relief, self-discovery, vocal technique and goal setting.

Sarah has a career background in solo performance, choir and group singing, music ministry, and dance. She holds degrees in Voice Performance from the University of Kansas and Arizona State University. She enjoys a very active lifestyle of running, hiking, dancing and travel with her husband Scott Correa, who is an avid rock climber, COS native, and a case worker at Rocky Mountain Human Services, Homes for all Vets.

About this Experience

Body Based activities like music, sports, and art are great ways to support your mental health. I invite you to consider singing as a new way to support your during the winter, Covid lockdown, and anytime you feel vulnerable to stress in your life.

One lesson will inspire you to return for a recommended series of 4 lessons. Learn basic music skills, rhythm and notes, how to produce a vocal tone, breathing, and self-confidence. Voice lessons are a great way to have fun and release stress. Private lesson are recommended for any member of the family ages 12 – adult.

Because of the nature of this experience, participants are asked to complete the 4 pack of lessons within a 6 week period. We understand conflicts and illness, so always communicate with your artist facilitator. 2 missed experiences will result in 1 experience received.

October 2020 – We are following safety precautions using masks and cleaning the studio for each voice lesson experience. Your experience can be in-person or online with Zoom.

About this Experience

Join us for a 60-minute Group Voice lesson that offers fun, laughs, stress relief, and focuses only on you! In a group, singers will learn all kinds of songs, basic music reading, rhythm, and how to sing in a group. This experience is to support spouses of military enlisted and have a good time. ** This event is for families or groups who have agreed to quarantine together. Stay safe and have fun singing.
