The mission of Operation Homefront is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront’s vision is to be the provider of choice for short-term and Critical Financial Assistance, long-term stability and recurring support programs to military families.
Operation Homefront does this through a variety of programs offered across the United States that focus on Relief, Resiliency, and Recurring Family Support.
- Relief is provided through Critical Financial Assistance and Transitional Housing programs.
- Resiliency efforts are supported through permanent housing and wounded warrior caregiver programs.
- Recurring Family Support is offered through a variety of morale-focused initiatives that serve the whole family including Back-to-School Brigade (backpack and school supply distributions for military children), Holiday Toy Distributions for military children, Holiday Meals for Military events (meal kit distributions to military families that include all the items needed to make a traditional holiday meal at home), Star Spangled Baby Showers (for new and expecting military families), and Homefront Celebrations (special evenings out for military spouses).
While Operation Homefront has nationwide footprint, the Colorado Field office is located in Colorado Springs and includes two full time employees.
