Military & Veteran Service Organizations working in El Paso or Teller Counties are eligible to apply to participate in the MAC program.
Once accepted into the program, at least one employee or representative from the Service Organization will need to complete a required 1/2 day training session. Upon successful completion of training, the Service Organization will be officially registered on the MAC website, and will receive an initial allocation of electronic credits. These credits may then be redeemed, at the discretion of the Service Organization, for a variety of creative Experiences provided by trained Artist Facilitators. The Experiences available through the MAC program are intended only for local military service members, veterans, and/or their families.
Thanks to several local and regional funders, the electronic credits will be provided at no cost to participating Service Organizations. The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region will oversee the credit allocation process, manage the flow of funding into the system, and administer the subsequent payment to Artist Facilitators for services rendered.
Service Organizations that manage their credits thoughtfully and effectively in support of the MAC program will be eligible to receive additional credit allocations, based on available funding. Service Organizations are asked to always be thoughtful and responsible when referring Participants to the MAC program.
